First Assignment

F-14 raptor Tomcat

with Biasing joints

First Step:

-Top View and side view images with same size

-Insert images at SOLIDWORKS at top and side view and changes the transperncy

Second Step:

-Drawing of the top view

-Boss Extrude for the drawing

-Cut Extrude for the holes of the parts

Third Step:

-Drawing the parts of the plan

-Boss Extrude for the drawings

-Boss extrude for the joints that would enter the holes

  

Fourth Step:

-Assemblies of parts

(2-Rudder, 2-Bases, 2-Aerons, 2- Pins, Main body)

There was a problem that I found when I exported the final DXF file.

Situation: I was worked in the design with 5mm thickness sheets and the actual sheets were 3mm thickness sheets.

Task: I should resize the DXF file form 5mm thickness to 3mm thickness.

Action: I searched for DXF editor program (DraftSight) to resize the final design with ratio 3/5.

Result: The operation was done and the parts was assembled successfully
